Description
We have obsessed over wolves and bears since the dawn of culture. From the Paleolithic era, predator cults of the caves of Europe to modern-day pop icons in the form of cuddly cartoons and animated figureheads. On one hand, their survival is a brutal one, dependent on tearing apart and ravaging other sentient beings for survival… on the other, they raise their young in a similar fashion and in family groups close to our own.
What is it about these so-called monsters that we are so attracted to? What has been learned from them in the past? What can we still learn from them today? – Chuck Brenton
