“Sculpting is my way of processing my experience of being human. These two pieces help me feel connected to my dad. Maintaining faith and hope were two of the biggest lessons I learned from him.
The horses represent the journey of life carrying us along. Hope leans into the future, and Faith is more settled and is looking up.
The “Fields of Gold” patina on each sculpture is one-of-a-kind.
I apply gold leaf to the top of the horses to represent our connection to the divine.
